Red Velvet update!
Last week, I finally decided to make the Sprinkles Bakery Red Velvet cupcake mix from William Sonoma. OMG. My quest is over- I have found the PERFECT red velvet cake! The mix is a bit tricky to make since it calls for butter and gradual mixing, but it is so worth it. SO WORTH IT. 5 Stars and a Hooray!

Oh! I may have to try this. I've been reading your red velvet posts with interest because I've only ever had red velvet once, and that was part of an ice cream cake, so I don't really think it was a good representation, and I'm so curious to know what is so great about it!
This is the best mix so far. I also tried the duncan hines mix (I haven't posted that yet) and it is no where near as good.
